On the Trail: Craig from CAPEable Adventures

We've been out and about here in Massachusetts, enjoying the Spring weather and exploring some new trails. After a busy day of assembling chairs, we recently joined the DCR Universal Access Program for their Adaptive Sports Fair.

In addition to introducing the Freedom Chair to many new riders, we got to know some of the local nonprofits that support adaptive recreation in the area.

One of these organizations is CAPEable Adventures, which provides awesome adaptive sports and recreation opportunities on the Cape. Founder Craig Bautz is a T9 paraplegic who has instructed, competed and participated in adaptive sports for 25 years. Craig took the Freedom Chair for a cruise and shared his thoughts on the ride:

Craig tackled some rough terrain that he otherwise wouldn't be able to in his regular chair. Watch the video above to hear about his experience.

In the coming weeks we'll be bringing you more stories about experiences "On the Trail" with Freedom Chair riders. You might even see yourself on here soon!
