Squad Shout-Out: DCR's Universal Access Program

Today's Shout-Out  honors the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's Universal Access Program (DCR's Universal Access Program), an organization dedicated to providing outdoor recreation opportunities in Massachusetts State Parks for visitors of all abilities.

Whether it's hiking, biking, kayaking, or hockey, DCR's Universal Access Program makes it possible for people of all kinds of abilities to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.

DCR's Universal Access Program has a fleet of 5 GRIT Freedom Chairs available for community members to use during their events. It's been a pleasure working with them to expand hiking and trail access throughout the State.

Follow along and make sure you reserve your spot by checking Facebook. Their next big Adaptive Recreation Fair will be held on June 3, 2017. It's FREE, and the GRIT Team will be in attendance. We hope to see you there!
