- The Hard-Shell Travel Case 2.0 by BWI was designed to keep bicycles safe in transit. You will need to purchase third-party foam and velcro to adequately secure a GRIT Freedom Chair in this case. GRIT is not responsible for damage caused by improper or insufficient packing. GRIT Freedom Chair and accessories are not included with the case.
What kind of foam and velcro should you purchase?
- Foam: Foam is available online in all shapes and sizes. We recommend buying a large sheet of foam and then cutting it down to protect the specific parts you will be packing. Select foam that is at least 4" thick. A single foam sheet measuring 72" (L) x 30" (W) should be sufficient.
- Velcro: A roll of velcro will be enormously helpful when packing a GRIT Freedom Chair into the Hard-Shell Travel Case 2.0 by BWI, as you can use it to secure components together and prevent them from shifting during transit. A 30-foot roll of velcro that is .80" wide should be plenty!
