Our partner organizations include adaptive sports organizations, veterans’ groups, state and national parks, municipalities, universities, summer camps, rehabilitation centers, as well as private businesses.
Some of the organizations who contact us already work closely with the adaptive community. Other organizations—like state and national parks, camps, gyms, and others—are just beginning to explore accessible programming.

The National Ability Center empowers the adaptive community through inclusive sport, recreation, and educational programs ranging from cycling, rock climbing, meditation, archery, and so much more.
SOAR Program at Northeast Off-Road Adventures
Ellenville, New York
Northeast Off-Road Adventures (NORA) has a series of trails for all-terrain wheelchair users. The trails complement NORA’s ADA-accessible building, air-gun range, and off-road vehicle course!
Boston, Massachusetts
As the official all-terrain wheelchair of the Para-Spartan Elite, GRIT is committed to helping adaptive athletes conquer Spartan Races. Both GRIT and Spartan are fueled by the rigor, determination, and a no-excuse drive to the finish line.

Channahon, Illinois
The Forest Preserve District of Will County offers a free GRIT Freedom Chair at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon, IL. The chair is available on a first-come, first-served basis during visitor center hours.
Midlothian, Virginia
Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) is a veteran-founded nonprofit whose mission is to honor and empower wounded military and law enforcement veterans through physical, mental, and emotional rehabilitation.
Memorial University of Newfoundland

Their department of Human Kinetics & Recreation uses GRIT Freedom Chairs to allow people of all abilities to enjoy the outdoors, regardless of the terrain.

As one of the top ten rehabilitation hospitals in the nation, the Shepherd Center specializes in spinal cord injury and brain injury rehabilitation. They use the GRIT Freedom Chair to help their patients recover from injury and explore new opportunities in mobility.

Estes Park Mountain Shop offers free GRIT Freedom Chair rentals! Donated by the Sam Schneider Legacy Foundation, this adaptive equipment enables users to explore rugged trails in Rocky Mountain National Park.
New Hartford, Connecticut
Summit Adaptive Sports offers inclusive hiking experiences in Connecticut with adaptive equipment such as GRIT Freedom Chairs. Their programs are free of charge and supported by trained volunteers.
Texas, USA
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) offers over 25 GRIT Freedom Chairs across its state parks. These chairs are available free of charge, with reservations recommended by contacting the specific park or visiting the TPWD website.
Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest
Clermont, Kentucky
Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in Kentucky offers a free GRIT Freedom Chair that can be reserved daily at no cost thanks to support from the WHAS Crusade for Children.
GRIT works closely with organizations around the world to integrate the GRIT Freedom Chair into their programming. Groups of all shapes, sizes, and missions have purchased GRIT's all terrain wheelchairs to broaden their accessible offerings.
We love working with partners who make that true accessibility a reality, through adaptive hiking programs, trailside events, obstacle course races, camps, or simply taking the steps to make their pre-existing offerings accessible to a larger population.
