Adaptive Wider Concept2 SkiErg Base Only (32") by Equip
We love the SkiErg! It is such a popular machine, we came up with a wider base that makes it much easier for wheelchair athletes to use. The SkiErg base assembles exactly the same way a standard base does but is thirty-two inches wide (32”) rather than twenty-four inches wide (24”). The extra width allows seated athletes the ability to get closer to the machine and get a full downward pull as opposed to bottoming out on the smaller base.
The wider base has also benefitted athletes of shorter stature, with prosthetic limbs, and even taller athletes, all of whom can take advantage of the extra clearance from the rail.
